Take a look please at my home made heat collection I made it myself out of a recycled Heat pump. It heat water which is pumped into a used Radiator which pumps heat to two large rooms in our home. The water goes into to a installed tank and back out to the Solar Heater . Electic to run the system was $1.75 a day ..4 heat lamp in the heat box were used to keep it from freeze at night .. Late winter It saved 40 gallons of heating oil each fill up. (For the winter 2008/2009) .My plans this summer are to make a better and bigger heater... I keep recorders of temps and sunny day. Basely all winter we would turn on the oil burn in the morning from About 6:00 to 8:00 am Then the oil heater off all day It was turned on again 5:00 to 10:00 pm. Sat & Sun it was on all day Ex at nite.
